Project Comfort is an initiative of local residents in the Fort York, Liberty Village, City Place and Queens Quay neighbourhoods committed to addressing the needs of the homeless in our community.

Our objective is to work with all stake holders including the City of Toronto and operators of  respite centers to provide a comfortable and safe transitional living space for Toronto’s most vulnerable.

Currently Project Comfort directs its efforts in three primary areas:

1) To be an advocate of the homeless by working with other stakeholders on programs that are not only effective but reduce the need for temporary housing in our community.

 2) Through our volunteer network establish community programs and events that will provide for the basic needs of residents. We accomplish this through different events and initiatives of our members.

 3) To be a source of information, research and advice for all stakeholders in our community that come into contact with those in our community that seek help, assistance, support and comfort.

Currently, Project Comfort is not a registered charity, association or not-for-profit organization. Project Comfort does not solicit, request, or accept cash contributions/donations. If you are approached by an individual or group claiming to be from Project Comfort and seeking financial support, please contact us immediately. Project Comfort relies solely on our volunteers and we welcome you to sign up to be a volunteer.
